Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and game modes, including a fresh set of challenges rewarding players with free items, such as a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in the Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map.
What is Recursive Destruction?
The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge introduces Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. However, not all destructible objects trigger this; only those highlighted in red when using Chrono Vision.
Using Chrono Vision
Chrono Vision, activated via the "B" key (keyboard) or the right D-pad button (console), highlights destructible objects in red. Only these red-highlighted objects will trigger Recursive Destruction.
Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown
To complete this challenge, play Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be present. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, highlighted in red, ready for destruction.
Destroy these buildings multiple times to trigger Recursive Destruction three times. The action may be obscured by the match's intensity, but repeated strikes should suffice. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
