In an exciting development, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2) will offer players the option to clear bosses without engaging in combat. During the latest episode of the Koji Pro radio broadcasts on April 14, DS2 Director Hideo Kojima unveiled this groundbreaking feature designed to assist players who may struggle with boss encounters.
Kojima detailed that if players choose to press "continue" on the game over screen after a failed boss fight, they can bypass the combat and proceed with the game. Opting for this feature will trigger a sequence of images and text that narrate the battle, akin to a visual novel. This allows players to fully grasp the story's context without the need for combat, enhancing accessibility and narrative engagement.
Death Stranding 2: 95% Complete
Hideo Kojima also provided an update on the game's progress, stating that Death Stranding 2 is now 95% complete. He likened the current state of development to "10 o’clock (PM)" on a 24-hour clock, indicating that there are just "2 hours left" before the game's completion.
