Marvel Rivals emphasizes teamwork to achieve a common goal, but that doesn't exclude individual accomplishments. In fact, the game features an extensive list of Achievements designed for solo play. This guide will show you exactly where to find and how to use the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals.

How To Find the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals

Browsing the Chronoverse Saga Achievements for Season 1 of Marvel Rivals reveals several notable challenges. One requires playing as a Norse God and performing an emote, while another tasks you with finding a statue of a prominent Wakandan. However, the "VENI VIDI V…?" Achievement might appear straightforward but proves to be one of the trickiest to complete.

This particular Marvel Rivals challenge directs you to locate the Celestial Codex and spray the nearby terminal. The main hurdle is that the Codex is exclusive to the Klyntar map. Since this Achievement can only be completed in Quick Play, you're at the mercy of matchmaking to finally land on that specific location.

When you do get into a match on Klyntar, your first step is to check which side you're on. The Celestial Codex is a large, amorphous mass located in the attacking team's spawn area. If you start the match on the attacking side, you can find and complete the objective almost immediately. If you're defending, however, you'll need to wait until your team captures the first checkpoint to gain access to the enemy's original spawn point.

How To Use the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals

Finding the Celestial Codex is only the first step—knowing what to do next is crucial. Regardless of whether you're attacking or defending, you must use your spray emote (default key 'T' on PC, left on the D-pad for consoles) on the terminal in front of the Codex. Any spray will work, but it's wise to cover the terminal thoroughly to ensure the game correctly registers your action before you return to the lobby.

Defending players planning to venture into the enemy spawn should stay alert. While it’s uncommon to encounter opponents directly at the Celestial Codex, caution is always advised. To minimize risk, consider using highly mobile heroes like Spider-Man or Rocket Raccoon. These characters can quickly disengage from an unexpected confrontation, allowing you to reassess and try again later.

A final, crucial reminder: do not quit the match immediately after completing the "VENI VIDI V…?" Achievement. Abandoning your team in Marvel Rivals, a game that relies on full six-player coordination to win, is poor sportsmanship. More importantly, leaving early might prevent the game from logging your stats, which could invalidate the Achievement unlock. So, even if you finish the challenge in the opening minutes, see the match through and do your part to secure a victory.
