Rhythm-Driven Adventure

Crunchyroll's mobile port of the critically acclaimed rhythm roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is now available on Android! Previously released on PC and with prior, limited mobile releases, this version, titled "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," boasts enhanced features and a wealth of content.

Gameplay Overview:

Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter, venturing into a rhythmically challenging crypt to rescue her missing parent. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is unique. With 15 playable characters, each possessing distinct abilities, players must move and attack in sync with Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack. Failing to maintain the beat results in immediate failure. Expect a diverse cast of enemies, from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons!

Beyond a Simple Port:

This mobile release isn't just a simple port; it includes remixes, fresh content, and even crossover skins featuring characters from the popular anime series Danganronpa. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Furthermore, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is slated for release later this year.

Available now on the Google Play Store for Crunchyroll subscribers, Crypt of the NecroDancer offers a unique and engaging rhythm-based gaming experience. Don't miss out! Check out our other articles for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
