Project NET Pre-Registration Is Now Live

The upcoming mobile third-person shooter Project NET has officially opened pre-registration, as announced by the developers on the official Southeast Asia (SEA) X (formerly Twitter) account on March 3, 2025.

To pre-register, interested players need to visit the official Project NET SEA website and click the Pre-Register button. After clicking, players are prompted to enter their email address and select their preferred device, either iOS or Android. The game's official Russian (RU) website has also enabled pre-registration.

SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Limited to the Philippines

Project NET has also opened registration for its beta phase, named the "Shock Point Test." The game's official SEA X account announced on March 4, 2025, that players can now apply for the test.

This test is currently available only to players in the Philippines and is limited to Android devices. It will offer limited access and will not include monetization features, with all player data being wiped afterward. A Shock Point Test will also be conducted for the Russian region, with details available on the RU website. The development team is currently optimizing the game in preparation for a wider global rollout across other countries and regions.

Below is the official schedule for the SEA Shock Point Test recruitment registration.

After completing the recruitment questionnaire, eligible participants can anticipate receiving confirmation emails between March 24 and March 26, 2025. Additional test qualifications may also be distributed throughout the testing period, which has yet to be officially announced.

Project NET Was First Announced in December 2024

Sunborn Network, the studio behind the popular mobile title Girls’ Frontline, first revealed on December 27, 2024, that they were developing a new mobile third-person shooter called Project NET. The game underwent its first regional initial test in several SEA countries—Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines—from January 9 to January 16, 2025.

The Girls’ Frontline franchise debuted in 2016 as a strategic role-playing gacha game for mobile devices. Its success led to an anime adaptation and several other game titles. More recently, its sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, launched on December 5, 2024. As a spinoff, Project NET will be set in the same universe, so fans can look forward to recognizing familiar characters and artistic styles.

There has been no official word on Project NET’s release date. Based on the devices used in the initial test, the game is expected to launch on both iOS and Android platforms.
