Pokemon Center Hiroshima Relocation and Gyarados Plaza Launch
Pokemon Center Hiroshima is undergoing a significant change! The store will temporarily close its doors at the end of March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. Simultaneously, a brand-new Gyarados Plaza is set to debut this March.
The New Home for Pokemon Center Hiroshima
The relocated Pokemon Center Hiroshima will be situated on the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station. This marks a move from its current sixth-floor location in Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, where it's resided since June 2015.
A Gyarados Playground Awaits!
The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will open its doors on March 24, 2025, at Soramoa Plaza’s rooftop on the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This interactive plaza, featuring large Gyarados-themed play equipment, promises fun for all ages. Advance reservations may be required for playground access initially. Check the official Minamoa website for details.
Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
Before the relocation, Pokemon Centers across Japan, including Hiroshima, will celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers with a special nationwide event. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker by visiting a participating Pokemon Center and providing a password obtained from a specific Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024).
Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also feature photo opportunities with the popular Poke-lun TV hosts.
This event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025, and excludes Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe.
