Rescue Shadow Palkia by battling Team GO Rocket leader Giovanni, and don't miss Shadow Ho-Oh Raid Day on January 19th for a chance to catch this legendary Pokémon.
This Fashion Week marks the debut of Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai! Hatch Shroodle from 12 km Eggs. Team GO Rocket will be more prevalent at PokéStops and in balloons, providing ample opportunities to purify your Shadow Pokémon using Charged TMs to remove Frustration.
New Shadow Pokémon are joining the fray, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny variants! For the first time, you can use Remote Raid Passes to participate in Shadow Raids, no matter your location.
A special research task will reward you with a Super Rocket Radar, leading you to Giovanni and Shadow Palkia. Additional Field Research tasks offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Complete a special Collection Challenge to earn Stardust and encounter Trubbish.

Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day takes place on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Enjoy increased Raid Pass availability, a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate, and the chance to teach your Ho-Oh the Charged Attack, Sacred Fire. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.
