Conquer Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl in Genshin Impact 5.3!
This guide provides a straightforward walkthrough for completing all five battles in Genshin Impact's limited-time Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl event.
Event Requirements:
- Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
- Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context to the event's narrative.
Gameplay Mechanics:
The event involves controlling an Onikabuto beetle in simulated battles against various enemies within a Teapot at Mt. Aocang. Controls are simple: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Careful stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Utilize Piercing Strikes (by holding the attack button) for increased damage.
Battle Strategies:
Here's a breakdown of each battle and recommended strategies:
- "Staff Master Who Only Uses Basic Horizontal Sweeps": A standard Hilichurl. Focus attacks on its head, and watch for ground markings indicating its attack range.
- "Staff Master Who Waves a Torch About Non-Stop": A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Target its head and the Pyro Slime, particularly when it's preparing to throw it.
- "Mumbly-Bumbly Red-Hot Mage": A Pyro Abyss Mage. Interrupt its fire spell casting, then attack repeatedly. Watch out for its fireballs and flame pillars.
- "Bouncy, Energetic Mage Who’s Actually Freezing Cold": A Cryo Abyss Mage. Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
- "Big Guy Said to be Solid as a Mini Mountain": A Stonehide Lawachurl. Attack quickly, dodging its attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use a Piercing Strike for maximum damage.
Difficulty and Rewards:
Play on "Focused Fight" (two-star) difficulty for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) unlocks after completing "Focused Fight," offering Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems.
Utilize the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy attack patterns. Co-op mode is available; select "Match" to team up with other players. A total of 420 Primogems can be earned on Utmost Might difficulty. Other rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
Don't miss out! The event concludes on January 13, 2025, at 03:59 Genshin Impact server time.
