In this latest installment, Proxies find themselves entangled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, who has them scrambling to secure a mysterious artefact linked to the Sacrifice. The plot thickens with the involvement of the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, intent on disrupting the Mayor's plans. Other factions also have their eyes on the prize, complicating the Proxies' mission.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 introduces new unit Anby Demara, formerly known as Soldier 0 and the leader of Silver Squad. She now steps into the spotlight as an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, wielding dual swords to unleash Electric damage on foes. Joining her is Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad, who enters the fray as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Her unique Sniper Mode allows her to dodge attacks and take precise shots, setting up teammates for Quick Assists.
Some Are Making a Comeback
Familiar faces are returning in Version 1.6. Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent representing the Sons of Calydon, makes a comeback. S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan are also featured in rerun banners. Meanwhile, players will face off against the new boss, Geppetto, in Hollow Zero.
The update ramps up the challenge with the introduction of Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge. Additionally, the new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds special effects to each battle stage, enhancing damage based on accumulated coins.
