While Escape Academy is leaving Xbox Game Pass, PC players can obtain it for free from the Epic Games Store starting January 16th. Removal times vary, but most games depart near the end of the scheduled day.
The next wave of departures is anticipated on January 31st, with titles to be announced alongside the January 2025 Wave 2 additions. Confirmed day-one additions for January 2025 include Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. Further announcements are expected around January 23rd during the Xbox Developer Direct.
