League of Legends: Wild Rift delivers a midweek update with the release of patch 6.2, introducing the Soulforce Awakening theme. Featuring new champions, champion reworks, and item adjustments, this is an ideal moment to dive back into Wild Rift.
So, what exactly is Soulforce Awakening? At its heart is the Soulforce Box. By gathering Soulforce energy, you can level up the box to claim 12 different rewards. These include Collected Legends Card Packs, condensed ore, trial cards, and six unique chromas for Aurora, the Witch Between Worlds.
Now, let's talk about the new champions. Aurora serves as a powerful mage with high ability power, appealing to players who enjoy assassin-style gameplay. Meanwhile, Bard, the Wandering Caretaker, introduces unique mechanics with abilities like Magical Journey and Tempered Fate.
Notable Additions
Completing the lineup is Vel'Koz, the Eye of the Void. As a long-range mage from the Void, he unleashes devastating plasma attacks to dismantle opponents.
Existing champions have also received attention. Galio, the Colossus, and Swain have both been adjusted—Galio's Shield of Durand has been refined, while Swain's Demonic Ascension has been strengthened.
