How to Watch Daredevil: Born Again – Where to Stream and Episode Release Schedule

Authore: NoraUpdate:Mar 18,2025

The mid-2010s saw the critically acclaimed, three-season run of Daredevil, captivating audiences with its gritty portrayal of Hell's Kitchen. The 2018 Netflix cancellation, therefore, came as a shock. While Charlie Cox's Daredevil made brief appearances in subsequent MCU projects like She-Hulk and Spider-Man: No Way Home, a solo series revival seemed unlikely. Yet, the Man Without Fear is back. Though now airing on Disney+, Marvel promises a grittier, more action-packed experience than ever before.

What Is Daredevil: Born Again About?

Daredevil: Born Again serves as a sequel to the 2015 Daredevil series, carrying over most characters and plotlines. While its exact placement within the MCU timeline remains unclear, Charlie Cox's Daredevil has featured prominently in The Defenders, with smaller roles in She-Hulk and Spider-Man: No Way Home. His primary antagonist, Wilson Fisk, appeared in the Disney+ series Echo.

Inspired by Frank Miller's "Born Again" arc, the show isn't a direct adaptation. Marvel's official synopsis:

Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice. Former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues political power in New York. As their pasts resurface, an inevitable clash is unavoidable.

Will There Be a Season 2?

Initially planned as a 19-episode season, Daredevil: Born Again is now split into two nine-episode seasons. Season two's release date remains unannounced.

What About the Rest of 'The Defenders'?

Once part of The Defenders (a single-season series following Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist), the return of Daredevil raises the possibility of other Defenders' comebacks. Marvel executives have stated they are "exploring" this possibility.
