World of Warships Legends celebrates the Lunar New Year with new Legend of Wukong event

Authore: LucasUpdate:May 07,2025

As we've seen with Sky: Children of the Light's festive Lunar New Year event, January's dullness is getting a colorful boost thanks to the widespread celebration of this calendar event. Now, even the intense world of naval warfare in World of Warships Legends is joining the party with an exciting Sun Wukong-themed event!

Sun Wukong, the legendary monkey king from the iconic Journey to the West, steps into the spotlight of World of Warships Legends' Lunar New Year festivities. It's no wonder this beloved figure, a cornerstone of Asian literature, is the star of the show.

Alongside the new update's other offerings, such as the campaign for the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie, the Lunar New Year event introduces Wukong as a commander guise available for all nations. He'll make his grand entrance with his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser Wukong, joined by various skins inspired by characters from the famous novel.
