Blizzard has unveiled exciting new details about the in-game housing system coming to World of Warcraft: Midnight. While the expansion won't arrive until after The War Within (part of the Worldsoul saga), early previews showcase a level of customization exceeding many players' expectations.

A recent developer blog, complete with in-game videos, demonstrates the intuitive furniture placement system. Items snap to a grid for easy organization, and players can decorate larger pieces, like shelves and tables, with smaller accessories that remain attached when moved.

The system offers two modes: a Basic Mode for simple arrangements and an Advanced Mode for those seeking creative freedom. Advanced Mode allows for rotation on all three axes and creative stacking, enabling the construction of complex and visually stunning interiors.

Gnomes can craft cozy spaces, while Tauren can design expansive layouts. Select furniture pieces designed specifically for the housing system will support recoloring, although this may not be available for all legacy assets.

With Midnight still months away, Blizzard continues to unveil tantalizing glimpses of upcoming content, maintaining player engagement and excitement for future updates.
