Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token for every 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.
The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, concluding after 11 weeks, allowed players to accumulate Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Excess tokens could already be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events.
Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will have no future use after the event's January 7th conclusion. The automatic conversion in Patch 11.1 prevents players from retaining unusable currency.
While a release date for Patch 11.1 remains unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule and considering the ongoing Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events. This means the conversion will likely happen after the Turbulent Timeways event concludes.
Timewarped Badges, obtained through the conversion, are used in Timewalking events with persistent rewards, allowing players to save them for future events.
