War Thunder is Dropping Its Firebirds Update With New Aircraft Soon!

War Thunder's Firebirds Update: Stealth, Power, and New Vehicles!

Gaijin Entertainment has announced the upcoming Firebirds update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update introduces a range of exciting new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships.

New Aircraft Taking Flight

Prepare for the arrival of iconic aircraft, including the stealthy American F-117A Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle.

The F-117A Nighthawk marks a first for War Thunder: a stealth aircraft. Its unique design, employing radar-absorbing materials and angled surfaces to deflect radar waves, made it a near-invisible threat in real-life conflicts like Operation Desert Storm, achieving over 1,200 combat sorties without a single loss.

The F-15E Strike Eagle, an enhanced F-15 variant, boasts a significantly increased payload capacity (50% larger) and advanced ground target detection radar. Expect a devastating arsenal, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!).

More Than Just Planes!

The Firebirds update expands beyond aircraft. Ground forces receive additions like the British FV107 Scimitar light tank, while naval battles see the introduction of the French battleship Dunkerque.

Aces High Season Continues

The Aces High season is also underway, offering unique vehicles, trophies, and rewards for completing the season and Battle Pass. Expect aircraft like the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with powerful ground units such as the T54E2 and G6, and ships including the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
