Following the March 10th *Fields of Mistria* update, the Fire Seal is finally accessible after completing the preceding altars. Unlocking it requires four specific offerings: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, an Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's break down how to obtain each item.
Where to Find the Faceted Rock Gem

This rare artifact is located within the Fields of Mistria mines, specifically on floors 50-59. We discovered one on floor 56 after some digging. Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked ground spots. Be prepared for some exploration—it's a relatively uncommon find.
Where to Find Rockroot

Rockroot is a more common forageable plant found on floors 50-59 of the mines. If you've spent time mining, you might already have one. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image. Only one is needed.
Where to Find an Emerald

Emeralds are the easiest offering to acquire. They're found as geodes on floors 50-59 within the mines. Alternatively, you can break large boulders around Mistria, purchase them from Balor's Wagon (200 tesserae each), or craft them at the Stone Refinery (unlocked with the March 2025 update).
How to Get the Sealing Scroll

The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest triggered by speaking with Juniper after discovering the Fire Seal. You'll then enlist Balor's help, requiring these items as payment:
- 10 Silver Ingots
- 10 Rubies
- 10 Sapphires
- 10 Emeralds
You can likely find these materials in your inventory or within the mines. Once collected, deposit them in the bin near Balor's Wagon.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
Once you've gathered the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot, return to floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. This will unlock the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and further content during Early Access.
Note: Fields of Mistria is in Early Access, so content is subject to change. This information is accurate as of Version 0.13.0 and will be updated if necessary.
Fields of Mistria is available now on Steam Early Access.
