XD Games has just unveiled exciting details about the upcoming sixth season of Torchlight: Infinite during their livestream preview. They introduced a new hero and teased upcoming events that will soon be available in the game.
Who’s The New Hero In Torchlight: Infinite Sixth Season?
Meet Selena, the new hero and a talented musician set to revolutionize the gameplay in the Frozen Canvas. Selena can seamlessly switch between two distinct forms to tackle enemies. In her Bard Mode, she envelops her skills in foam that bursts into vibrant colors upon impact, unleashing powerful abilities. Switch to her Loud Song Mode, and you'll sacrifice some mobility for a surge in raw damage output, enabling you to obliterate foes with unparalleled force.
The sixth season's highlight is the Frozen Canvas theme, where you'll navigate the icy expanses of the Netherrealm. Gather mystical Snowpaper Fragments to unlock new stages and battle enemies while collecting colors to craft your unique paintings. These paintings not only enhance your aesthetic experience but also grant you new abilities and skills, leading to the discovery of hidden treasures.
And There Are New Skills, Too!
The new Inspiration Essence introduces a range of support skills to enhance your gameplay. Skills like Split Shot – Rapid Advance transform your basic attacks into a relentless barrage of projectiles, while Groundshaker – Wrathful Vault lets you crash down from the sky, delivering devastating damage. Additionally, the return of corrosion challenges you to upgrade your equipment, but beware: a failed upgrade could leave your gear in a compromised state!
The Netherrealm is set for a thrilling makeover in the sixth season. The new Supreme Showdown pits you against 20 of the most formidable bosses yet. Survive this gauntlet, and you'll earn a Legendary Season Pactspirit as a reward.
