Fans of Kabal will find T-1000 particularly appealing, as some of Kabal's signature weapons and moves have been integrated into Mortal Kombat 1, despite Kabal himself not being part of the roster.
The trailer pays homage to the legendary film Terminator 2: Judgment Day, featuring a recreation of the iconic scene where T-1000 wags his finger—a gesture famously banned in the NBA for being unsportsmanlike conduct. Additionally, T-1000 interacts with Johnny Cage, asking if he has seen John Connor, further cementing the film's influence on the game.
Alongside T-1000, the trailer introduced Madam Bo, who will also be added to the game. T-1000's Fatality showcases his liquid metal capabilities as he changes his appearance and replaces his victim, delivering a chilling and efficient end to his mission.
