Get ready for the first Pokémon Go Community Day of 2025! The event kicks off on January 5th, featuring the Grass Cat Pokémon, Sprigatito, as the star.
From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, Sprigatito will appear more frequently in the wild. This is your chance to catch plenty and power up your team.
Event Bonuses:
- Increased Sprigatito Encounters: Find Sprigatito more often during the event window.
- Exclusive Move: Evolve your Sprigatito into Floragato, then into Meowscarada, during the event (or up to five hours afterward) to learn the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn Flower Trick.

- Double Candy XL Chance (Level 31+): High-level Trainers have an increased chance of getting Candy XL.

Special Research:
A paid Special Research story will be available for $2, offering exclusive rewards including a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and additional Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research will continue the fun after Community Day, providing a week to complete tasks and earn a Sprigatito with a special Dual Destiny-themed background.
