Even a fleeting glimpse at the awe-inspiring presence of one of Elden Ring's most celebrated players, Let Me Solo Her, is enough to humble even the mightiest Tarnished. Yet, this renowned gamer found himself challenged by one of FromSoftware's toughest adversaries, Bloodborne's Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her first gained fame within the Elden Ring community in April 2022, when he emerged as a loincloth-wearing, jar-headed savior, offering crucial assistance to the myriad players struggling against the notorious optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella, in the hit RPG.
By his own account, since then, he has accumulated over 1,200 hours of gameplay and confronted Malenia thousands of times. His dedication and skill have cemented his legendary status among Elden Ring enthusiasts, earning him the honor of receiving an actual sword from FromSoftware in acknowledgment of his contributions.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared his experience after acquiring a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, which allowed him to finally delve into the beloved Bloodborne. As a seasoned FromSoft player, he still encountered significant challenges with some of Bloodborne's most notorious boss fights.
Adjusting to the game's lower framerate—Elden Ring runs at 60 frames per second (fps), while Bloodborne operates at 30 fps—along with its intense atmosphere and the initial setback of dying to the clinic's werewolf (a common experience for many), Let Me Solo Her guided viewers through his entire Bloodborne adventure, including the game's DLC.
"Finally, I encountered the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with a DLC features that final boss who feels overwhelmingly powerful," he remarked. "We had Promised Consort Radahn for Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael for Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss for Dark Souls 1. Orphan of Kos was that boss for Bloodborne."This boss required more attempts than any other I've faced, prompting me to delve into Chalice Dungeons to farm Blood Vials and bullets off-stream just to restock," Let Me Solo Her added (thanks, GamesRadar+). "For me, he's definitely the toughest boss in Bloodborne."
