Old School RuneScape's Royal Titans Update: A Fiery Showdown!
The latest Old School RuneScape update, Royal Titans, plunges players into a colossal conflict between fire and ice giants. Lead by Brandr, the Fire Queen, and Eldric, the King of Frost, respectively, these titans clash in a dramatic PvM encounter. The fire giants' territorial ambitions lead them to the Asgarnian Ice Cave, triggering an epic battle.
This dual boss fight requires strategic adaptability. Players must quickly switch gear to exploit elemental weaknesses, making a single-strategy approach ineffective. Cooperative gameplay is also an option, allowing players to team up and conquer the challenge together.
Victory over the Royal Titans offers access to powerful rewards: the Twinflame Staff and the Giantsoul Amulet. The amulet, a non-tradeable teleport, provides instant access to Obor, Bryophyta, and the Royal Titans themselves.
Rewards Galore:
The Royal Titans battle yields a wealth of rewards, including valuable Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages, and a coveted Fire & Ice giant pet. Additionally, a new Slayer Alternative Task has been introduced, allowing players to gain Slayer XP while battling the giants and the bosses.
Coinciding with the Royal Titans' arrival, Old School RuneScape celebrates its 12th anniversary on February 19th with a special livestream, in-game festivities, and exclusive cosmetic rewards. The Royal Titans mark a significant start to 2025 for OSRS.
