Authore: OliverUpdate:May 21,2025

Schedule I developer Tyler has released the highly anticipated 0.3.4 update for all players following a brief testing phase, with detailed patch notes now available on Steam. This update marks the first major content expansion for the viral hit drug dealer simulator, which initially launched to overwhelming success on Steam in early access on March 24.

In a Steam post, Tyler apologized for the delay in the update's release, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured players that future updates would run more smoothly and on schedule, with plans for larger monthly updates starting next month.

Looking ahead, Tyler's primary focus is on resolving remaining bugs, which he listed as top priorities:

  • Ensuring employees work consistently and without issues.
  • Preventing save game corruption or loss. Tyler has collaborated with Valve to enhance the save file format, making it more compatible with Steam Cloud saves and less susceptible to corruption.
  • Reducing disconnections and loading problems in multiplayer.

Additionally, Tyler aims to improve the game's optimization and is working towards obtaining Steam Deck verification, using it as a performance benchmark.

Schedule I soared to the top of Steam's sales charts upon its launch, outpacing major titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, fueled by its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players evolve from small-time dealers to kingpins, managing drug manufacturing and distribution in the gritty city of Hyland Point, expanding their empire through properties, businesses, and employees.

Developed and published by the Australian indie developer Tyler under the banner TVGS, Schedule I's explosive launch was described by Tyler as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a Reddit post, Tyler expressed his surprise at the game's reception and his commitment to focusing on patch releases and future content updates once major bugs are addressed.
