REDMAGIC 10s Pro Review: Is It Worth It?

Authore: ScarlettUpdate:Dec 07,2025

We frequently cover a wide range of REDMAGIC products here at Droid Gamers. Just last week, we published our review of the 10 Air model.

These smartphones are designed with gamers' needs as the top priority. During our review of the Air, we noted that it’s "a thoughtfully designed device – and it's evident that Nubia is committed to refining each new release, not just relying on its reputation for building high-performance gaming phones."

Now, the 10s Pro has arrived, claiming to offer a meaningful upgrade over the 10 Pro, which launched less than a year ago. So what exactly sets this newer model apart from its still-recent predecessor? Let’s take a closer look.

First Impressions

Right out of the box, the 10s Pro feels a bit more refined than the 10 Pro. A sleek graphite-like trim runs along the edges, and the glass back offers a subtle view of the internal components.

Overall, the device maintains a clean and understated aesthetic. The gaming mode activation buttons are discreet, while all volume and power controls are neatly positioned out of the way.

Tech & Features

What truly stands out with the 10s Pro – and REDMAGIC devices in general – is the sheer performance packed inside. The 6.85-inch display brings games and videos to life with stunning clarity. Since the screen dominates the front of the device, and with visuals this good, we certainly aren't complaining.

Under the hood, the 10s Pro offers a step up from the 10 Pro, though the leap isn't dramatic. Many elements remain unchanged, including the screen size, dual-speaker setup, and the massive 7050mAh battery supported by an 80W GaN charger.

The real upgrades lie in the hardware: the CPU clock speed has been boosted from 4.32 GHz to 1100 MHz, while the GPU now reaches 1200 MHz, up from 4.47 GHz.

Gaming Performance

Unsurprisingly, these improvements make the REDMAGIC 10s Pro more than capable of running almost any mobile game you throw at it.

Even the most demanding titles we tested ran smoothly, without any overheating or noticeable fan noise.

The battery also delivered excellent performance during our extended gaming sessions. Plus, the 3.5mm headphone jack allows you to enjoy high-quality audio on the go without disturbing others.

Gaming Features

Beyond raw power, the 10s Pro includes several gamer-focused enhancements. The capacitive shoulder buttons performed reliably in our hands-on tests.

Then there’s Game Space software, offering quick access to a variety of gaming plugins, peripherals, screenshots, and settings.

You can adjust display options, record gameplay, and much more. Notably, the system can also monitor gameplay for specific events, and an AI-powered feature even suggests custom control layouts for you to try. These smart functions worked surprisingly well during our testing—better than we initially expected.

The Verdict

The REDMAGIC 10s Pro is a seriously impressive smartphone, especially for gaming. That said, its predecessor, the 10 Pro, remains a very strong device, so it’s hard to recommend upgrading if you already own one.

If you're using an older model, however, and you take mobile gaming seriously, this is undoubtedly one of the best choices available today.

Impressive Re-iteration

A must-have phone for serious gamers, though be aware it’s more of an evolution than a revolution over the previous model.
