Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key element of her kit is the DOM launcher, a deployable bulletproof shield specifically designed for doorways. While impervious to small arms fire, explosives can destroy it. A unique feature is its trigger mechanism; teammates can activate it instantly, while defenders face a three-second delay – a potentially game-changing difference, especially during defuser situations.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2 to the game, a new fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine. She can also utilize either the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a full release on the live servers following shortly thereafter.
