What Is Split Fiction?
Split Fiction is an action-adventure game designed exclusively for two players. It follows the story of two writers, one specializing in sci-fi and the other in fantasy, who find themselves pulled into their own fictional worlds. Players must collaborate to battle enemies and solve puzzles across levels inspired by science fiction and fantasy themes. One moment you might be racing on Tron-style motorcycles and manipulating gravity plates, and the next, you could be transforming into mythical creatures in an enchanted forest.
Additionally, the game features "side stories" accessed through portals within levels. These are essentially minigames, such as riding a "sand fish" across a desert reminiscent of Dune or water skiing behind a drone over the ocean.
