Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Dates, Locations, and More!
Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration
The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held in three global cities across different dates in June:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
- Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th
Further details will be revealed in March 2025. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.
This annual event offers trainers exclusive items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person attendees will enjoy unique city-specific experiences, including:
- Exclusive merchandise
- Habitat-themed activities
- Community hubs and team lounges
Expect rare Pokémon encounters, increased Shiny rates, and more, mirroring the success of previous years' events. (Think Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow from 2024!).
Two More Exciting January Events!
Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two additional events for January 2025:
Fashion Week: Taken Over:
- Dates: January 15th, 2025 (12:00 pm) - January 19th, 2025 (8:00 pm) local time.
- Highlights: Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni. Encounter the debuting Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12km Eggs). Other Shadow Pokémon will also appear (Snivy, Tepig, etc.). Look for a fashionably dressed Croagunk in snapshots!
Shadow Raid Day (featuring Shadow Ho-Oh):
- Dates: January 19th, 2025 (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time.
- Highlights: Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, 50% more XP from Raids, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky trainers can teach their Shadow Ho-Oh the exclusive move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
