When Does the Beloved Buddies Event Start in Pokémon GO?
The Beloved Buddies event kicks off on February 11th and wraps up on February 15th. This event focuses on deepening your connection with your Pokémon, and guess what? Dhelmise, the enigmatic Sea Creeper Pokémon, is making its grand debut. Whether you're aiming to capture it for your collection or prepare for raids, this is your chance!
What Can You Expect During the Beloved Buddies Event?
Catching Pokémon during this event rewards you with double XP, giving you a significant boost as you progress. Lure Modules will also receive a special upgrade, lasting a full hour and attracting a diverse mix of Pokémon such as Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching any of these will earn you an additional 500 Stardust per capture.
A vibrant lineup of Pokémon will appear more frequently during the event, including the highly sought-after Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce. Keep an eye out for Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.
Raids will bring a thrilling range of battles, from one-star encounters to challenging mega fights. In one-star raids, you'll encounter Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp, with Skrelp boasting an enhanced shiny rate. Three-star raids feature Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the newly introduced Dhelmise. Five-star raids will include Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), while Mega Raids will challenge you with Mega Tyranitar.
