The Pokémon Company has officially responded to the challenges fans have faced in obtaining recent sets of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In a recent statement, they confirmed that reprints are on the way and that they are diligently working to ensure these products reach fans.

The launch of the latest set, Destined Rivals, was marred by product shortages, pre-order complications, and the activity of scalpers. Other recent sets, such as Prismatic Evolutions and the Blooming Waters box, have also been highly sought after, making them difficult to acquire.

In a statement released on their official website, The Pokémon Company (TPC) acknowledged that some fans are struggling to purchase certain Pokémon TCG products due to overwhelming demand. "We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity to address this," the statement explained. "Reprinted products are expected to be available at participating retailers as soon as possible."

TPC also announced plans to "maximize production" for upcoming TCG expansions to improve product availability upon release. They committed to "continue reprinting impacted products" to restock inventory, including at the Pokémon Center.

Furthermore, The Pokémon Company indirectly addressed the issue of scalpers. For releases on the Pokémon Center, they stated their commitment to ensuring a seamless purchasing experience, utilizing technology to prioritize fans. The Pokémon Center currently employs a virtual queue for certain products during high-traffic periods.

"We will continue to explore measures that help create the best possible experience for Pokémon Center customers," the company stated. "We’d like to thank the community for their continued support and patience as we work to deliver more Pokémon TCG products to fans."

With these promises, fans hope to see improvements that will make collecting and playing the Pokémon TCG less stressful with the arrival of new sets.
