Yamada Heiando, a celebrated Japanese lacquerware brand, has teamed up with The Pokémon Company to craft bowls inspired by the Chinese Zodiac animals, employing traditional techniques. The bowls feature beloved Pokémon: Pikachu (representing the rat), Ekans (the snake), and Dragonite (the dragon).
The lacquerware artisans describe these Pokémon as "gentle guardians who watch over you and your children during meals." Yamada Heiando places a special emphasis on babies and children in their creations, expressing, "We aim for this product to serve as a vessel that celebrates and nurtures your child’s joyful development."
Each bowl comes with a brief description linked to a child's growth. Pikachu embodies kindness, Ekans stands for growth, and Dragonite signifies openness.
These stunning bowls were snapped up within hours of their release on January 17, 2025. A second chance to purchase them will be available starting January 31. Note that each buyer is limited to purchasing two items.

The initial trio in the "Evolving Personalities Figure" series includes Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon, with the rest of the "Eeveelutions" to be released in groups of three throughout the year.
