The report confirms several first-party titles for 2025. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD (January 16th) and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition (March 20th) are set for early release. Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will also launch this year, though dates remain unannounced.

Hands-on with the Switch 2
The Nintendo Switch 2 is confirmed for a 2025 launch, likely in the latter half of the year. In-person "Nintendo Switch 2 Experience" events will begin in April across 15 global locations (including New York, Tokyo, and Amsterdam). While many locations are closed for registration, waitlists are available. Japan's registration remains open until February 20th JST.

Super Nintendo World Expands to Orlando
Expanding its IP reach, Nintendo is opening a new Super Nintendo World theme park in Orlando, Florida's Universal Epic Universe, on May 22nd, 2025. This follows the successful launch in Universal Studios Hollywood. The Orlando park will feature iconic landscapes from Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country.
A Singapore location is also planned for 2025, though further details are pending.
