The eagerly anticipated console is set to hit the market on June 5, 2025, and will retail at $449.99. Additionally, a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle will be available for $499.99 in the US. This bundle includes the system along with a download code for Mario Kart World, available from the launch day on June 5. For those interested in purchasing Mario Kart World separately, it will be priced at $79.99.

You can register your interest with Nintendo for preorders of the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories via the My Nintendo Store. Priority for invitations to purchase will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to users who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and have logged at least 50 gameplay hours as of April 2, 2025. After priority users, other eligible registrants will be considered. Invitations are non-transferable and must be used within 72 hours. Purchases are limited to one system and one of each accessory per account. Major retailers are also expected to open preorders on April 9, 2025.
