Deadline reports that T.S. Nowlin ( Maze Runner, Project Adam) has joined to write the screenplay. While Derek Kolstad's involvement remains uncertain, Chad Stahelski (John Wick) and his production company, 87Eleven Entertainment, will serve as executive producers. Stahelski is also attached to the Ghost of Tsushima film adaptation.
Sifu, released in 2022, achieved over one million sales in its first three weeks. The game centers on a young martial artist's quest for revenge after their master's death. Using a mystical pendant for resurrection, each death accelerates the protagonist's aging, adding a unique layer to the intense action and compelling narrative.
