NetEase announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android release, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.
Dead by Daylight Mobile, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, offered a thrilling 4v1 survival horror experience. Players could choose to be either a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:
The game's servers will officially close on March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date. NetEase will provide details on the refund process for in-app purchases on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional regulations.
Existing players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those making the switch, along with loyalty rewards based on their mobile game progress (in-game currency and XP).
