Mortal Kombat Mobile welcomes back the iconic guest character, Spawn! This latest addition, based on his Mortal Kombat 11 design, is a major coup for the mobile fighting game. He's accompanied by a new MK1 version of Kenshi.
Spawn, the anti-hero created by Todd McFarlane, is a murdered soldier who strikes a deal with the Devil. This deal grants him terrifying supernatural abilities, and potentially, the power to unleash the Apocalypse. A nineties icon (though his creation predates the decade), Spawn is a flagship character of Image Comics and a highly sought-after guest in the Mortal Kombat franchise, having previously appeared in Mortal Kombat 11.
New Content Galore!
This update brings more than just Spawn. Alongside the new Kenshi, players will enjoy three new Friendship interactions and a brutal Brutality. New Hellspawn dungeons also provide fresh challenges. Download the update now on the iOS App Store and Google Play!
While some may dismiss mobile versions of beloved fighting games, this update is sure to excite fans of both Spawn and Mortal Kombat.
A Bittersweet Note: Just before publication, reports surfaced of the entire NetherRealm Studios mobile team being let go. Sadly, Spawn's arrival might be the final contribution from this talented group.
