Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo: A New Kameo Fighter
The official trailer for Madam Bo, owner of the Fengjian Teahouse, has dropped! She and the T-1000 from Terminator 2 arrive March 18th, 2025, as part of Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.
Before her Kameo debut, Madam Bo appeared in Mortal Kombat 1’s story mode. While seemingly defeated by Smoke, her encounter was a clever ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao. Don't underestimate this seemingly frail teahouse owner; she's a former Lin Kuei associate and skilled martial artist, having mentored both Raiden and Kung Lao.
Gameplay footage shows Madam Bo assisting her pupils with powerful strikes, shattering glass bottles with flair, and finishing opponents with a unique fatality involving a perfectly placed head on a tea tray. Talk about a tea party!
T-1000 Makes its Guest Debut
Joining Madam Bo on March 18th is the liquid metal menace, the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgement Day. This shapeshifting killer makes its Mortal Kombat debut as a playable character, utilizing its abilities to wield a sword or unleash a machine gun. Prepare for some serious metal mayhem!
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion
Madam Bo and the T-1000 are part of the Khaos Reigns expansion, featuring a new story campaign extending Liu Kang's New Era storyline. This expansion delivers a new cinematic experience as Liu Kang rallies his champions against the terrifying Titan Havik.
Kombat Pack 2, which includes these new characters, has been releasing new fighters throughout the latter half of 2024 and into 2025. Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax returned in September 2024, followed by Ghostface in November and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and the T-1000 are the latest additions to this impressive roster.
