Japanese publisher A Plus has launched pre-registrations for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. The anime-style MMORPG is scheduled to go global in October 2025. Developed by Shanghai Bokura Network Technology, the title also begins its PC Closed Beta Test today.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance builds upon the original Blue Protocol. For those unfamiliar, the initial version launched in Japan back in 2023.
Unfortunately, it shut down a year later due to an inability to sustain a sufficient player base. Servers went offline in January 2024, and the planned international release was cancelled.
However, Star Resonance represents a rebirth for Blue Protocol. This time, A Plus is ensuring everything runs smoothly from day one.
Set in the world of Magna, players can explore mines rich with rare crystals, herbs, and mushrooms. Survive unexpected monster stampedes while utilizing shields to tank, radiant spells to heal, and skill-based moves to deal damage.
The game allows you to switch playstyles on the fly. A robust customization system lets you design unique outfits so you stand out in bustling towns.
There is plenty of leisure content as well. Fishing by rivers, dancing at festivals, and setting off fireworks are all part of the experience. Multiplayer raids featuring formidable bosses will be a major focus.
