Peep Demo Theater Returns

MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

The ESRB has rated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) as M for Mature, and within this rating, it confirms the comeback of the Peep Demo Theater. This feature, originally found in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater’s Subsistence and HD Collection editions, showcases all the cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA, but in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely, including zooming in on any part of her body. Unlocking this mode requires collecting every other cutscene in the Demo Theater, which typically takes four complete playthroughs of the game.

The Mature rating aligns with the game's intense themes of violence and gore, as players take on the role of an elite soldier on a mission behind enemy lines. The return of the Peep Demo Theater, dubbed by some as "Creepy mode," is unexpected, given its explicit and controversial nature, which many fans did not anticipate would make a comeback.

Faster Camouflage System

In a significant gameplay improvement, MGS Delta introduces a faster method for changing camouflage. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) on March 28 demonstrated this new feature, stating, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."

The footage reveals that players can now switch their camouflage in under three seconds, a stark contrast to the original MGS3, where the process was slow and cumbersome. Previously, players had to pause the game, navigate through menus to the Camo section, and select their preferred camouflage, which often disrupted the flow and immersion during stealth missions.

As the launch of MGS Delta approaches, fans are buzzing with excitement for the remake, eager to experience both the returning elements and the quality-of-life improvements. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is slated for release on August 26, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
