To commemorate this milestone, 4A Games is offering Metro 2033 Redux for free for just 48 hours. The announcement was made on the official Metro Twitter (X) account on April 14 – the game will be available at no cost on Steam and Xbox until April 16 at 3 PM UTC / 5 PM CET / 9 AM PT.
This giveaway allows new players to experience where the Metro saga began. Earlier this year on March 16, the studio shared plans for anniversary celebrations through a blog post on their official website.
The post stated: "Throughout 2024, we'll be hosting special events, promotions, and exclusive content across Metro's social media channels to thank our community for joining us on this incredible journey."
