"Marvel Rivals Introduces Spider-Man 2 Game-Inspired Skin"

Marvel Rivals Announces the Release of the Advanced Suit 2.0

Marvel Rivals has thrilled fans with the announcement of a new skin inspired by the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2, set to launch on January 30. This exciting addition coincides with the PC debut of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, a first-party PlayStation title developed by Insomniac Games. In addition to the Spider-Man skin, Marvel Rivals is also rolling out new skins for Mantis and Doctor Strange on January 17, further enriching the game's cosmetic offerings.

In Marvel Rivals, Spider-Man takes on the role of a Duelist, focusing on dealing maximum damage. With a challenging five-star difficulty rating, mastering Spider-Man requires skill and practice. Players can utilize his web-zip and web-swing abilities to navigate the map swiftly, engaging and disengaging from combat with ease. Spider-Man's toolkit includes webbing enemies, pulling them in for close combat, and delivering powerful uppercuts to knock out opponents. The ongoing Season 1 of Marvel Rivals features Midnight Features quests that encourage players to take on challenges with Spider-Man to earn exclusive rewards.

NetEase Games made the announcement on Twitter, revealing that the Advanced Suit 2.0 will be available as a legendary skin in Marvel Rivals. The news has sparked enthusiasm among fans, particularly because Yuri Lowenthal, who voices Spider-Man in both games, lends his voice to this iconic character. However, the community is divided, with some fans eager to get the Advanced Suit 2.0 while others are intrigued by a leaked Lunar New Year Spider-Man skin that may also be coming to the game.

The Advanced Suit 2.0 retains the classic red and blue color scheme but is highlighted by the large white spider symbol, a signature of Insomniac Games' take on the superhero. While excitement surrounds the new skin, there's concern over its potential cost, which may mirror the higher price of MCU skins in Marvel Rivals. Legendary skin bundles typically cost 2,200 Units, but MCU versions of Spider-Man and Iron Man skins are priced at 2,600 Units.

For those eager to acquire Units swiftly, completing the Heroic Journey achievements in Marvel Rivals is a great strategy. These challenges can reward players with up to 1,500 Units and skins for Storm and Star-Lord. Units, along with Lattice, can be used to purchase any skins available in the game's shop. As Marvel Rivals continues to introduce new and exciting cosmetics, fans are eagerly anticipating what NetEase Games will unveil next.
