Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a chilling Halloween update, adding spooky new characters and challenges to celebrate its 10th anniversary. This update plunges players into a terrifying Battlerealm experience.
A Halloween Event of Epic Proportions
The update introduces Scream and Jack O’ Lantern as playable champions. Scream, the symbiote with a vendetta, and Jack O’ Lantern, with his sinister ability to transform victims into jack-o'-lanterns, promise spine-tingling gameplay. These additions enhance the "House of Horrors" event, where Jessica Jones leads players on a quest through a nightmarish carnival.
Simultaneously, "Jack's Bounty-full Hunt" challenges players in a gladiator-style competition with weekly quests and branching paths. This event runs from October 9th to November 6th.
Celebrating a Decade of Combat
This Halloween event coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is commemorating this milestone with ten major game reveals, including character reworks for Medusa and Purgatory.
The "Deadpool's Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza" introduces an Alliance Super Season with collaborative bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the "Venom: Last Dance" event (October 21st to November 15th), further enriches the anniversary celebration. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is also live until October 30th, featuring new mechanics centered around buffs and critical hits.
60 FPS Update on the Horizon
A significant upgrade is the upcoming 60 FPS gameplay update, slated for release on November 4th, promising smoother and more responsive combat.
