The reveal also showcases some innovative features of the set. One standout is the introduction of Summons, which are Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that players can summon for assistance in battle, as exemplified by Summon: Shiva in the gallery. Additionally, the set brings back double-faced cards, with Cecil's dual nature as a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin being a prime example.
The Final Fantasy set is set to include over 100 legendary creature cards, with 55 of them being borderless and illustrated by renowned artists from the Final Fantasy universe. This set will be fully draftable and Standard-legal, launching on June 13 alongside four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck will contain 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing cards featuring new Final Fantasy art.
