Exciting news for fans of the souls-like action RPG, Lies of P—a prequel titled Lies of P: Overture is on the horizon. Announced during Sony’s State of Play 2025 broadcast, this eagerly anticipated DLC expansion is slated to launch in the summer of 2025 across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Lies of P has garnered praise for its innovative take on the classic Pinocchio fairy tale, infused with the challenging gameplay mechanics reminiscent of Bloodborne. IGN’s review of Lies of P awarded it an impressive 8/10, commending it for excelling within its souls-like genre.

Publisher Neowiz had already hinted at the game’s first DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. Lies of P achieved remarkable success, selling one million copies within a month of its launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC via Steam, and Mac via the Mac App Store on September 18, 2023.
