KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the beloved RPG developed by Sesisoft, is set to end its service on January 30th, 2025. After a remarkable run of nearly five years, both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously. Despite the closure, there's a glimmer of hope for fans as the developers are working on a limited offline version. This version aims to preserve the main storyline, major quests, and events, allowing players to relive their favorite moments. However, details are sparse, and it remains to be seen if this offline version will come to fruition.
What About the Store and Refunds?
The developers are handling the shutdown with grace. Official channels will close on February 28th, 2025, and all in-app purchases were disabled as of October 31st, 2024. However, you can still use your Quartz and other in-game items until the service ends. If you're eligible for refunds on unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024, you can apply until January 30th, 2025.
