Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Cancellation Confirmed

Activist groups have targeted Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of in-game subpoenas, sparking an attempt to cancel the project. The controversy gained traction after news of the game's ban in Saudi Arabia surfaced online, fueling speculation about its content and alleged "progressive" themes. This led to attacks on the developers across social media, with calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and discourage support for the studio.

Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, responded to these rumors, urging the public to rely on official statements and not to believe everything found online. He confirmed that review codes would be distributed "in the coming days" following the game's gold master completion in early December. These codes are anticipated to be released four weeks prior to launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to prepare their content. Interestingly, the first "final previews," based on review copies, are expected to appear just a week after the initial code distribution.
