Today marks the global Android release of Alphadia III, the latest installment in the celebrated Alphadia series. Developed by EXE CREATE and published by KEMCO, the game initially launched in Japan last October. Dive into the immersive world of Alphadia III and experience its rich narrative and engaging gameplay.

What’s the Story in Alphadia III?

Set in the year 970 of the Alphadian calendar, Alphadia III thrusts players into the climactic phase of the Energi War—a pivotal conflict centered around the control of a mysterious life force known as energi. The world is divided into three major factions: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east. As tensions reach a boiling point, the narrative follows the journey of a clone soldier named Alfonso. The plot thickens when a girl named Tarte arrives with the grim news of a fellow clone's demise, setting Alfonso on a transformative path.

What’s the Gameplay Like?

Alphadia III embraces a traditional turn-based combat system presented in a side-view perspective, all rendered in charming pixel art. Players can leverage SP Skills, which accumulate during battles and can turn the tide when used strategically. The game introduces Arrays, dynamic battle formations and strategies that evolve as you progress, offering diverse tactical options tailored to different combat scenarios.

A unique feature is the Energi Crock, where players can deposit surplus items that, over time, transform into Energi Elements. These can be exchanged for valuable gear or other benefits at in-game shops. Throughout your journey, you'll encounter various factions, including the peacekeeping alliance Deval and elite military units like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim, as well as different energi clone models such as the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.

Beyond its compelling main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. The game is available on the Google Play Store for $7.99, with a freemium version that includes ads also accessible on Android.
