When it comes to showcasing their latest vehicle, car manufacturers have a variety of promotional strategies at their disposal. From launching slick advertising campaigns to securing celebrity endorsements, the options are plentiful. However, Hyundai has opted for a unique approach by once again partnering with Nexon's popular kart racing game, KartRider Rush+. This collaboration brings the innovative Insteroid concept car into the game as a new kart, offering players an exciting in-game experience. The Insteroid, crafted by Hyundai Motors Europe Design Center, draws inspiration from the INSTER, an electric SUV developed by Hyundai.
Alongside the Insteroid, players can also grab the new Glitched Hyundai Aura and an EV Charging Connector sporting the vibrant GOGOGOrange color scheme. But the excitement doesn't stop there. A special event, running until April 28th, allows players to participate in a draw for 30 Lucky Star Jewels by using a Boost Shard at least once in-game. These jewels can then be exchanged for various items through the Starlight Treasure Hunt.
It's worth noting that the Insteroid is not only an in-game kart but also a real-world concept car. While it may not hit production lines anytime soon, its presence in KartRider Rush+ serves as a powerful promotional tool for Hyundai. In comparison to other collaborations, like the Cybertruck in Fortnite, the Insteroid's design brings a fashionable edge to the game.
