Rikzu Games has just released a new Android title: Cub8. This rhythm arcade game pushes players to master hypnotic precision challenges. The developer's previous mobile launch was Shapeshifter: Animal Run, an endless runner infused with magical elements, which debuted in October 2024.
Rikzu Games specializes in creative twists on familiar genres. Their portfolio includes unique puzzle games, runners, and other simple concepts reimagined, such as Patience Balls: Zen Physics, Galaxy Swirl: Hexa Endless Run, Leap: A Dragon’s Adventure, and Rotato Cube.
What About Cub8?
Cub8 is a pure test of rhythm and accuracy. Your taps rotate a cube, and perfect alignment keeps you in the game. A single mistake ends your run immediately—there are no retries.
Players are drawn into a mesmerizing loop with a smooth, infinite zoom effect that deepens as you advance. The visuals feature a neon aesthetic, blending classic arcade style with a futuristic music video feel.
In Cub8, every 10 successful taps advances you to a new stage. Each stage introduces a shift in music, visuals, and gameplay mechanics, ramping up the difficulty. With eight stages total, each one presents a unique challenge to your timing.

As you progress, hazard cubes will bounce your inputs off-track, and decoy cubes appear to throw off your rhythm. Victory depends not just on keeping the beat but also on your brain's reaction speed. Total focus is essential.
The soundtrack is central to the Cub8 experience, featuring a driving techno and glitch style perfectly synced to the gameplay. Using headphones is highly recommended, as the audio cues are vital for timing your taps correctly.
The game also offers some customization. You can unlock new skins for your hydraulic press and collect power-ups to extend your run. For competitive players, a global leaderboard tracks scores against other players worldwide.
