"Honor of Kings Winter Update: Snow Carnival Event Brings Campaigns and Rewards"

Authore: AlexanderUpdate:May 22,2025

Winter has arrived in Honor of Kings with the launch of the Snow Carnival event, bringing a series of frosty events and new mechanics for players to enjoy over the coming weeks. The Snow Carnival will run until January 8th, offering a range of seasonal festivities on the battlefield, limited-time challenges, and exclusive rewards to keep players engaged as the cold sets in.

The Snow Carnival event is structured in phases to maintain excitement throughout its duration. Currently, the Glacial Twisters phase is live, challenging players to navigate through icy tornadoes that impact movement and positioning. Additionally, players can battle the Snow Overlord and Snow Tyrant, gaining an extra freeze effect upon victory.

Moving into phase two, starting December 12th, the Ice Path effect will be introduced. Players can summon the Shadow Vanguard, which has the ability to freeze enemies in its path. Furthermore, the hero’s Ice Burst skill will become available, triggering an ice explosion that deals area of effect (AoE) damage and applies a slow effect to opponents.

Phase three, beginning December 24th, will feature the River Sled event. Defeating the river sprite rewards players with a sled that provides a speed boost during retreats. For those looking for something more casual, Snowy Brawl and Snowy Race modes offer light-hearted fun.

Beyond the battles, the Snow Carnival includes several reward-focused events. The Zero-Cost Purchase event allows players to select valuable items, such as skins, on a daily basis. Engaging in tasks like Mutual Help and the Scoreboard Challenge provides opportunities to earn exclusive cosmetics, including Liu Bei’s Funky Toymaker skin and the coveted Everything Box.

In addition to the event, Honor of Kings has revealed a sneak peek of its 2025 esports calendar. From regional tournaments to global showdowns, there's much to anticipate next year. The third season of the Honor of Kings Invitational is set to kick off in February in the Philippines, promising exciting challenges for participants.
