Honkai: Nexus Anima to Bridge Two Honkai Worlds

HoYoverse has finally unveiled a teaser for the next chapter in the Honkai universe: Honkai: Nexus Anima, the series’ upcoming title. The teaser offers a brief glimpse into the game, sparking widespread speculation among players about its potential gameplay.

What Do We Know?

During the Honkai: Star Rail second anniversary concert, HoYoverse premiered the teaser live. At the very end of the performance, Kiana’s voice greeted viewers in Chinese as the iconic Honkai Impact 3rd character stood at the entrance of a building, her loyal companion front and center.

Then came Blade from Honkai: Star Rail, hinting that the two worlds of Honkai may intersect in Nexus Anima. The trailer revealed little, but you can watch it for yourself right here.

Keep in mind, no official title was announced during the stream. The teaser simply ends with the message: “A brand new Honkai game, stay tuned.” Still, the name circulating widely is Honkai: Nexus Anima—first surfaced earlier this year in job postings, then confirmed through trademark filings and domain registrations.

Is It Going to be a Pokémon-Like?

If the teaser gives off Pokémon energy, you’re not alone. The visuals strongly suggest a blend of Pokémon and Honkai, especially with companion creatures and trainer-style confrontations.

The clip even featured a brief Kiana versus Blade moment, hinting that Nexus Anima may lean more heavily into combat and companion mechanics than earlier entries in the series.

For now, we don’t know when it’ll launch—or whether Nexus Anima will be the final name. But it definitely looks promising. Until more details emerge on Honkai’s Nexus Anima, check out our next update: Gothic Vampire RPG Silver and Blood’s Android pre-registration.
